Mr. Appelstein, whose motto is “there’s no such thing as a bad kid,” provides original, strength-based training to individuals seeking to understand and respond to troubled youth. He is an engaging, upbeat, informative, and humorous speaker who is the author of three critically acclaimed books and a self-monitoring CD for youth (e.g., No Such Thing as a Bad Kid, The Gus Chronicles).
