Amber Landward - Specialist
Prior to joining the UPDC, Amber taught special education in a variety of settings ranging from residential youth-in-custody programs to co-taught inclusion classes. She has worked with elementary and secondary students in Murray, Granite, Jordan, and Salt Lake City school districts as a teacher, literacy coach, and literacy interventionist. Amber earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in reading from the University of Utah and is currently working on an administrative license. Her experience and interests involve improving outcomes for students with disabilities through literacy, inclusion, and positive behavior support.
