Administrators and teachers at Highland Jr. High School discuss the benefits of the ABC-UBI initiative at the Utah Personnel Development Center. The principal and resource teacher from Centerville Elementary School in Davis District, Utah share the benefits of participating in the ABC-UBI training. The principal and building coordinator from Stewart Elementary in Davis School District share their thoughts on participating in ABC-UBI. The Uintah Elementary Staff demonstrates their school rules.

Total # of participants = 3171
The School-wide Evaluation Tool (SET) is designed to assess and evaluate the critical features of school-wide effective behavior support across each academic school year. The SET consists of 7 indicators: A- Expectations Defined, B- Expectations Taught, C- Reward System in Place, D- Behavioral Violations System in Place, E- Monitoring and Decision Making, F- Management, G- State and District Support and the Total Average Score. For the 2010-2011 school year 62 are respresented in this graph. Systems team uses the Problem Solving Model at team meetings School wide data are used to evaluate the effectiveness of core academic programs Universal reading benchmark administered 3 times/year
Universal math benchmark administered 3 times year School wide behavioral data are used to identify students who need supplemental interventions

About ABC-UBI

ABC-UBI is a statewide training initiative to support the implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). Activities include implementing evidence based instruction and intervention to support the Utah Common Core, proactive screening and progress monitoring assessments, and problem solving to support the academic and behavior needs of ALL students.
